This technical guide is intended to be of service to the professionals a working tool to help the development of Self-Protection Plans, classifying and developing the minimum content established by the Basic Self-Protection (source: Ministry of Interior of Spain).

The law 2/1985, of 21 January, on Civil Protection, includes aspects of self-protection in Articles 5 and 6, determining the obligation of the Government to establish a catalog of activities of all kinds can lead to an emergency situation, and obligation to the holders of the centers, establishments and premises where such activities occur, to have a self-protection system, endowed with its own resources, and appropriate emergency plan for risk prevention actions, alarm, evacuation and relief.

INTRODUCTION

The Basic Self-Protection establishes the obligation to draw, implement and maintain operational materially Plans Failsafe. It also determines the minimum content that should incorporate centers Protection Plans, institutions and agencies potentially, You can generate or be affected by emergencies. 6.2 Emergency action procedures.

También los programas de ejercicios y simulacros, ayudan a sensibilizar al personal en general ante una situación de emergencia, por ello, se realizarán ejercicios de coordinación con los medios externos (Firefighters, policía, servicios sanitarios, etc.).
